Affordable Designers For The “Mango People”
One of the most awaited wedding is all set to burn the town with envy. Yes, we are talking about the grand wedding of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta. The childhood friends are finally tying the knot today at the Jio World Centre. The reliance scion is all set to be betrothed to shloka Mehta, daughter of Dimond merchant Arun Russell Mehta, MD of Rosy Blue, a $2 billion diamond cutting, polishing and trading company, whose own net worth is around Rs 3,000 crore. Mehta is the former Vice Chairperson of the Gems & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) and currently serves as the member of the Diamond Panel of the Committee of Administration of the GJEPC.
Not so long after Isha and Parimal’s wedding Akash and shloka’s wedding is giving serious wedding goals for the wedding season. Just as you thought the wedding season is done with the internet is broke by these two couples. Following the Ambani tradition, the festivities kickstarted last month in February at St Moritz, Switzerland. Here are some of the memories of the function.
As we are writing this piece, the Jio centre is being converted into a dreamland straight out of a fairy-tale. As we have come to know the theme follows the pattern of the exquisite wedding card. As in the card the Jio centre is being adorned with floral horses and floral elephant setups as we speak. Jio World Centre is being decked up for the bride and groom. The entire is being adorned with Japanese blossom flowers at the entrance to flower-clad animals to ceiling creepers at the main hall.
As expected, the wedding will see a huge list from our beloved tinsel town. From the Bachan’s to Kapoor’s to the Khan’s will all be in attendance. The wedding will see the who’s and who of our country all gearing up for the grand Nuptials. Whether our Beloved P.M will mark the occasion is yet to be confirmed. As seen in previous Ambani weddings, and as is the Ambani tradition, no stone has been left unturned to create a magical universe.
Draped in Sabyasachi and Ambani’s favourite designer Manish Malhotra, the wedding is going to be a treat to the eyes, and will set the stage on fire. Here are some of the previous design worn by the Ambani’s on Isha’s fairy-tale wedding.
